Pre Order Policy/Warranty information/Return Policy

PRE-ORDER POLICY

50% AMOUNT OF PAYMENT IS REQUIRED ON PRE-ORDERS
BALANCE 50% TO BE PAID ON ARRIVAL OF YOUR ORDER AT OUR WAREHOUSE.
SHIPPING OF PRE-ORDERS IS COMMONLY BETWEEN 8- 12 WEEKS
DELAYS CAN OCCUR RESULTING FROM CIRCUMSTANCES BEYOND OUR CONTROL
ORDERS ARE CONSIDERED FINAL ONCE THE ADVANCE PAYMENT IS RECEIVED
PRE-ORDERS CANNOT BE CANCELLED, RETURNED OR REFUNDED EXCEPT FOR MAJOR FAULTS – STORE CREDIT WILL APPLY.
MAKING A ADVANCE PAYMENT MAKES YOU BOUND BY THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THIS PRE-ORDER SALE.
PRE-ORDER PROCESS:
ONCE PRE ORDER ARIVES AT OUR WAREHOUSE REMAINING BALANCE PAYMENT SHOULD BE MADE WITH 14 DAYS OF ARRIVAL NOTICE TO THE CUSTOMERS.
DELIVERY SHOULD BE TAKEN WITHIN 21 DAYS AFTER CUSTOMER HAS BEEN NOTIFIED OF THE ARRIVAL OF THEIR PRE ORDER. AFTER 21 DAYS OF ARRIVAL NOTICE ADDITIONAL STORAGE CHARGES WILL APPLY. WE RESERVE THE RIGHTS TO SELL THE PRE ORDER ITEMS, IF CUSTOMER FAIL TO TAKE DELIVERY WITHIN 30 DAYS OF ARRIVAL NOTICE.

At the time of purchase you were aware the product was a pre-order, there was a wait on the product and you agreed to the terms set out on this Website.
You have viewed the product in person or online and accept the sizing, color.
You are aware of the total costs.
The approximate lead times are between 8 -12 weeks*
Delivery & Assembly could be subject to additional costs depending on the product.
The furnitures come out of a container and may have some small marks or minor issues as a result of transport, but these can easily be fixed for a fee.

RETURNS:

All pre-orders are classified as a custom made goods as we would not have ordered them if you had not purchased them, as such some items are non-returnable. This does not exclude your rights under Australian Consumer Law (ACL) as you may still have warranties or guarantees on the products description, fit for purpose and quality. For more information on this please refer to the Australian Consumer Law rights of a consumer.

CANCELLATION:

All pre-orders are classified as custom orders and as such you will forfeit all or part of you money if you choose to cancel your order.
Pre-orders can take approximately between 8 – 12 weeks to arrive in our ports and could be held for longer periods for Australian custom clearances, inclement weather, strikes and other issues that may arise which are out of our control.
Pre-orders can be carried out on our website or in store.
By paying advance payment of the order, the customer agrees to accept the Terms and Conditions set out on this page and other relevant T&Cs pages.
The customer is aware that they are receiving a discount to accept part or all of the of the risk in the purchase.
Pre-orders cannot be cancelled without forfeiting their payment.
When the pre-order is accepted and ordered, the customer is liable to lose any monies paid.

Can I cancel a Pre-Order?

Pre-Orders cannot be cancelled due to the fact that we have already ordered the item from the factory especially for you.

How long will the shipment take?

Pre-ordered items are expected to be delivered approximately 8-12 weeks from the date of purchase.

Please note with pre-ordering we are only able to advise of the expected arrival date into Australia. The date the goods arrive at our warehouse for dispatch to you, is dependent on many factors, such as the time taken to get the raw materials to the factory, passing our quality control inspection, clearing customs etc. As a result, delays can occur more than 12 weeks.

WARRANTY INFORMATION

This Refund, Return and Repair Policy is applicable to purchases made Online and In-store only.

At Nest Furniture Decor Online/instore we want our customers to be completely satisfied with their purchases.

We, therefore, recommend you read our Refund, Return and Repairs Policy prior to you making a purchase from Nest Furniture Decor Online/instore, so you are familiar with our policy on refunds, returns and repairs and your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

We also recommend you immediately inspect any goods that we deliver to you or that you collect from an Nest Furniture Decor store, to ensure you are completely satisfied with the goods, including that the goods are of acceptable quality, and match the description we have provided to you.

Returns & Replacements, and change of mind

A customer may cancel the order made within 48 hours of placing an order, except for SALE items.

Please choose carefully as refunds are not normally provided where you have simply changed your mind, made a wrong selection or simply found the goods cheaper elsewhere. We recommend you carefully preview any orders before adding them to your shopping cart and proceeding with your order.

No change-of-mind refunds on items after 48 hours of placing an order. Change of mind refunds/returns on items after 48 hours of placing an order, will attract a 50% restocking fee on the total purchase price of the product and also the customer is responsible for the return Freight cost and to arrange for the return of the goods.

We do not return, refund or exchange if you change your mind for Customized(leather type, size, colour) orders, SALE (including As-Is Condition, damaged or defective, faulty, ex-display and second-hand) items; immediately after placing an order. also, no return, refund or exchange is allowed if the products purchased simply cannot go through your doors.

Items sold “as is” and off the RRP price, will have a limited warranty with no refund and no exchange allowed. no further repair/warranty claims can be made with the items sold with “As is condition”, “Damage”, “Faults” & “defects”, which has been agreed for by the customer.

Please choose carefully as we don’t give refunds if you make a wrong decision or the purchase cannot go through the doors.

Goods Damaged in Transit

If any goods arrive damaged, please contact via email as soon as possible. After reviewing the claim, Nest Furniture Decor will contact you to discuss the options available to resolve the issue. In most cases, Nest Furniture Decor will either arrange for the return of the damaged product for replacement or refund — or a replacement part may be provided where the damage is minor.

In the event that an item is flawed or damaged upon delivery please contact us as soon as you receive it to discuss a return and replacement. Some leather furniture may have some dent marks caused by the packaging which will settle in a few weeks. As most of our furniture are hand made, the leather may have minor overdone stitches, wood may have subtle fissures and dents, the glass may have unnoticeable scratches; these are not defects and damage claim will not be honoured for such minor blemishes.

IF THERE IS DAMAGE OF ANY KIND, YOU MUST MAKE SURE THE DRIVER MUST BE NOTIFIED OF THE DAMAGE

The Client shall inspect the Goods on delivery and shall immediately notify Nest Furniture Decor through in the delivery docket and online claim form, of any alleged defect, shortage in quantity, damage or failure to comply with the description or quote.

Refunds

Refunds, if approved, will be processed by the relevant Nest Decor Pty Ltd and will normally be processed within 3 days.

Delivery Charges

If replacement and returns are approved by Nest Furniture Decor, it must be in writing and To and From freight costs, must be borne by the customer. Also, All returned items must be unused and should be sent in their original condition. If any goods cannot be easily returned to us or an Nest Furniture Decor Store, due to their size, the fault or because they have been affixed or installed in your premises, please contact our Sales Team and we will arrange an inspection to assess the goods.

Goods returned for repair will be assessed and/or repaired within a reasonable time. You may be provided with an indicative repair time, which time may vary due to reasons beyond ours or the repairer’s reasonable control, such as part availability and incorrect fault description.

You may be required to pay labour, assessment and/or freight fees, such as where goods are assessed to have been damaged by misuse or accident, or where your rights under the Australian Consumer Law or any manufacturer’s warranty do not apply. We may provide you with an indicative fee, which fee may vary due to reasons beyond our control.
